Welcome to the website of the 20th Fighter Group Project. Between August 1943 and October 1945 the 20th Fighter Group was based at Station 367: King's Cliffe in Northamptonshire. Assigned to the United States Eighth Army Air Force the Group's role was to provide fighter support to the ongoing bombing campaign against Nazi Germany.

The 20th Fighter Group Project aims to record the pilots, support personnel, planes and missions of the 20th Fighter Group during World War Two. This will act as a memorial to the bravery of these men who travelled from far afield, and in many cases gave up their lives, to be part of the struggle for freedom.
